EQUI-ED'S 2014 RIDE-A-THON

EXTREME EQUESTRIAN CHALLENGE

Are you up for an extreme challenge? This year's Ride-A-Thon is going to be extreme! Extremely fun! The event is open to everyone: current and former students, volunteers, staff and community members. If you cannot participate, please consider making a donation via our team web page (new team members being added often) or through our website.

Equi-Ed relies heavily on the success of this event to be able to provide care to our horses and services to our students.

How Does It Work?

Everyone who brings in a minimum $75 in pledges (ask family, friends, neighbors to make a pledge in your honor) by August 1st will receive the following:

  • a ride-a-thon t-shirt

  • an invitation to the Extreme Equestrian BBQ on August 30th at the barn. A special riding demonstration is planned for that night as well.

Volunteers and students may also be eligible to participate in a Trail Trials obstacle course at the barn the week of August 18-23.

Pledges will continue to be accepted through the end of the year. Only those received by August 23rd will be counted toward additional prizes.

How Do I Participate?

Register by emailing Sheila your t-shirt size at infoequied@aol.com. A pledge sheet will be sent to you and we will create a fundraising page for you on our team web page.

Additional prizes include: The top 5 students and the top 3 volunteers will be invited for a special trail ride on Saturday, August 30th before the BBQ.

Also: The top 3 students and the top volunteer/community member will receive a grand prize of two tickets to Safari West.

Remember: Any student or volunteer, current or former, community member or staff person may participate. Registration paperwork must be up to date to ride the Trail Trials course August 23-28th or the trail ride prize on August 30th.
