Equi-Ed offers to students with and without disabilities who participate in therapeutic riding, the opportunity to experience physical, emotional and mental benefits:

  • increased balance, muscle control, and strength;

  • increased concentration, patience, and discipline;

  • improved social skills and personal relationships.

Volunteer opportunities exist for individuals from the community, including college interns and high school students. Volunteers can help with a variety of activities including fundraising, horse care/preparation, and to assist with lessons on an as needed basis. Volunteer training consists of a required initial course of 17 hours with on-going training opportunities provided to all volunteers.

From shows to parades, we're always on the move here at Equi-Ed. Check our calendar and mark yours for upcoming events.
